Clay Courts and Sea Breezes: An Unexpected Convergence of Tennis and Mediterranean Living

The tennis court behind our home in Bodrum sits empty in the peak-summer midday heat, its clay surface radiating orange-gold under the Turkish sun. No one plays during these hours - a concession to climate that feels quintessentially Mediterranean.

The pause creates a natural rhythm: morning matches; mid-days for work or time at the seaside; evening rallies. It was within this cadence that our family began to notice parallels between the game we'd rediscovered and the coastal life we'd embraced. Both demand presence. Both thrive on ritual yet leave room for improvisation. Both reveal character through subtle gestures rather than grand proclamations.

The convergence of these worlds—tennis as a lifestyle and living on the Aegean coast—became the foundation for what our brand would eventually represent.
